Autopedia ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is a premium automobile encyclopedia developed and published by Privé Systems. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you download, access, or use the Autopedia mobile application available on Apple's App Store (the "Service").

By downloading or using Autopedia, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Autopedia is designed as a fully offline application. We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Automatically Collected Information

We do not automatically collect any data. Autopedia does not use any analytics frameworks, crash reporting SDKs, advertising identifiers, or tracking technologies. Specifically:

• We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
• We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral data
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect crash logs or diagnostics
• We do not use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies

4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Autopedia stores minimal preference data locally on your device only using Apple's UserDefaults API. This data includes:

• Favorites (Garage): The list of cars you have saved to your Garage is stored locally so it persists between app sessions.
• Recently Viewed: A record of the last 10 cars you viewed, stored locally for your convenience.

This data:

• Is never transmitted to any server, third party, or cloud service
• Is never shared with any entity
• Is stored entirely within the app's sandbox on your device
• Can be permanently deleted by uninstalling the App

As declared in our Apple Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), we use the NSUserDefaults API solely for the purpose described under Apple's CA92.1 category: "Access information written by the app itself."

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Autopedia does not integrate any third-party services, frameworks, or SDKs. We do not use:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
• Advertising networks or mediation platforms
• Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, etc.)
• Social media SDKs
• Attribution or measurement tools
• Cloud databases or backend services
• Push notification services

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user information with third parties. Since we do not collect data, there is no data to share.

7. Children's Privacy

Autopedia does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). The App contains only informational, reference content about automobiles and is rated 4+ on the App Store. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

8. International Data Transfers

Since Autopedia does not collect or transmit any personal data, there are no international data transfers to disclose.

9. Security

All data stored by Autopedia resides exclusively within the app's sandbox on your device and is protected by Apple's built-in iOS security measures, including:

• Hardware-backed device encryption
• App sandboxing
• Data Protection (file-level encryption when the device is locked)

10. Your Rights and Choices

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Since Autopedia does not collect or store any personal data on servers:

• There is no personal data for us to access, modify, export, or delete on our end
• Your locally stored preferences can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the App

11. App Tracking Transparency

Autopedia does not track you across other companies' apps and websites. We do not request the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because we perform no tracking of any kind.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
